About the Quest Home Page

I invite you to consider your health –
physical, mental, emotional, spiritual –
as a Quest.
A Quest is a lifelong process, a search, a
journey;
with occasions of difficulty and
moments of inspiration and success. When you encounter
those
periods of despair -- when you falter in your resolve to lose weight,
meditate, or exercise more -- you may be tempted
to give up.
Actively viewing your life as a quest
enables you
to get up, re-commit, and try again.
Consider setting aside some time to create a written
definition
of your personal wellness quest. It may
involve a
single goal such as increasing your intake
of healthy foods, or you might want to create a "mission statement" of your
personal life values. It's your quest, so you
get to create it any
way you like. Your Quest statement can always be revised, as often as you want,
as you develop new wellness goals and priorities.
Maintaining a good relationship with your
quest
means remembering to take breaks.
Quests can be hard work – think of Frodo
from The Lord of the Rings. Now, imagine
if he &
Sam had been able to
get a couple of massages along the way?
That sure
would have made their journey a little
easier!
